An alternative version of a piece of editorial illustration work. The project was to design a poster showcasing six films for a film festival at Londons South Bank Theatre. The style of work was influenced from seeing the vivid color palettes and surrealist touches from 1980's movie posters. The best part of this work for me was the discovery of using photo gloss paper as a surface to work on with dry media such as pen and permanent marker. The papers smooth surface immediately absorbs the media allowing for rich and sharp illustrations.
